24.83’ Cape Dory 25, 1974, It is in excellent condition for its age. Everything works.
Roller furling jib (Furlex 50S). Real marine head with 10 gallons holding tank. Bilge pump and automatic switch changed in 2022. Standing rigging was changed in 2018 by a professional and is in excellent condition. Mercury outboard four strokes 4 hp (has a gearbox with reverse) with a high-thrust propeller. It works very well as long as you use seafoam. On this boat the outboard is in a well on the back of the cockpit. This boat has a well at the back of the cockpit where the outboard motor goes. All required navigation and anchor lights are LED and work. The lights in the cabin also work. 15lb fortress aluminum anchor with a big chain and rode bought in 2022. There is also a smaller anchor. Depth Sounder (Standard Horizon DS35). I have the title on my name. The boat is registered under my name in Texas.

A measure of the stability of a boat's hull that suggests how well a monohull will stand up to its sails. The ballast displacement ratio indicates how much of the weight of a boat is placed for maximum stability against capsizing and is an indicator of stiffness and resistance to capsize.

A measure of the weight of the boat relative to it's length at the waterline. The higher a boat’s D/L ratio, the more easily it will carry a load and the more comfortable its motion will be. This ratio assess how quickly and abruptly a boat’s hull reacts to waves in a significant seaway, these being the elements of a boat’s motion most likely to cause seasickness. Read more.
