Shes never been used in salt water and has been stored all but three months with less than a dozen outings. Included are 9 coats of varnished Mahogany seats, rub rail, centerboard trim, coaming cap, bronze cleats and motor bracket, mainsail, spun Dacron halyards, sheets and topping lift, epoxied carbon fiber mast with braided grommet mast hoops, varnished wood boom and gaff, Harken mainsheet system, lazy jacks, Sunbrella full cockpit/sail cover with mast boot, sail bag, rudder bag and seat cushions. Racing epoxied bottom with white hull and beige topside. Travel and storage racks with 2021 Tidewater trailer.
GENERAL INFO :
The shallow draft of the 14-foot Catboat allows it to sail with ease in only 12 inches of water. The full beam makes this one of the most stable catboats on the market. She is as quick as a cat and very forgiving to those new to sailing. The Areys Pond Cat is the first catboat to have a fiberglass coaming. This design feature eliminates the problems commonly found in boats with wooden coamings where the coaming and deck meet. This significantly reduces annual maintenance.
