Antilles Passage is a 2010 43’ Beneteau Oceanis 43. She offers a 2024 Yanmar 57 HP auxiliary, two 300 watt solar panels, new AGM batteries, two inverters, Cruisair reverse cycle air conditioning/heating system, ProFurl roller furler, Quick anchor windlass, transom pass-thru, AB 11’ RIB tender with a Yamaha 15 HP outboard and Kato davits and a 3 stateroom 3 head layout. She previously served five years in charter until the present owner bought her in 2016 and has maintained her in private ownership condition since. She has been stored on the hard each hurricane season in Puerto Rico with the sails, running rigging, bimini and dodger stored inside the boat. She is presently stored on the hard, but she is accessible for inspection.

Hull Speed = 1.34 x √LWL
A more accurate formula devised by Dave Gerr in The Propeller Handbook replaces the Speed/Length ratio constant of 1.34 with a calculation based on the Displacement/Length ratio.

Hull Speed = Max Speed/Length ratio x √LWL

A measure of the weight of the boat relative to it's length at the waterline. The higher a boat’s D/L ratio, the more easily it will carry a load and the more comfortable its motion will be.
