Exceptionally maintained, fresh-water. Prior owners owned for 20 years and meticulously maintained. We have owned for two and decided sailing is not right for us at this time in our lives. The boat has no current maintenance issues and has many upgrades as the former owner was an electric engineer - upgrades to water system, sound system, battery bank, heat, air conditioning and more. Extremely sound boat with good stability and 7 knot hull speed. All manuals still in tact with boat as well as detailed winterization/dewinterization checklists. We are parting with sailing for the time being so the boat comes with all accessories, safety gear, fenders, shore power cable, water hoses, Coleman chairs, grill, 2 swim ladders, customs bedding, throw cushions, etc. AGM battery bank (440 amp hours - a huge capacity) is brand new as of May 2025 installed for $2,000. All Portlights are brand new as of May 2025. Full enclosure Bimini in excellent condition.
7 berths (V-berth, quarter berth aft, lazarette, dinette converts to a bed), galley, gimbaled alcohol stove, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, nearly new Raritan marine head, brand new AGM 440amps hours as of May 2025, two separate starter batteries, all brand new portlights (May 2025), upgraded water capacity (80 gallons fresh), subwoofer surround sound, TV, inflatable dinghy on davits. Sails: main, furling 110 jib, 165 Genoa, spinnaker Mechanical Equipment
21 HP Yanmar diesel engine Galley Equipment
Gimbaled stove, sink, microwave, dishes and kitchenware, cabinets, kitchen table, refrigerator, freezer Deck and Hull Equipment
Rigging and sails are older (not original) but all in very good condition with no repairs needed. Boat has been exclusively in fresh water for its lifetime. Navigation Systems
Autohelm ST4000 Depthsounder, compass, digital compass, wind meter all in good working order.

Heat, air conditioning, fully enclosed bimini with Variglass panels and netted/insect panels, 2 companionway enclosures: one full wood and the other netted option to keep bugs out but air flowing through. Nearly new Raritan marine head, autopilot, Inflatable dinghy on davits with 15HP mercury outboard motor, all required accessories: custom bedding, kitchenware, life jackets, emergency kit, life sling, sail covers and bags, interior accessories like storage containers, etc also included. Boat was recently surveyed in Nov 2023 when purchased and I am happy to share all survey results. Boat has been meticulously maintained per manufacturer guidelines. Excellent condition for a boat this age. No water in the bilge, dry with no water damage. Some damper spots on the deck and rudder as would be expected in a boat this age; none in safety critical locations. Full survey and sound readings available. Bought the boat for my husband and we sailed two seasons and have decided sailing is not for us, though its a spectacular boat.
The theoretical maximum speed that a displacement hull can move efficiently through the water is determined by it's waterline length and displacement. It may be unable to reach this speed if the boat is underpowered or heavily loaded, though it may exceed this speed given enough power. Read more.
Classic hull speed formula:
Hull Speed = 1.34 x √LWL
A more accurate formula devised by Dave Gerr in The Propeller Handbook replaces the Speed/Length ratio constant of 1.34 with a calculation based on the Displacement/Length ratio.
Max Speed/Length ratio = 8.26 ÷ Displacement/Length ratio.311
Hull Speed = Max Speed/Length ratio x √LWL
A measure of the power of the sails relative to the weight of the boat. The higher the number, the higher the performance, but the harder the boat will be to handle. This ratio is a "non-dimensional" value that facilitates comparisons between boats of different types and sizes. Read more.
SA/D = SA ÷ (D ÷ 64)2/3
A measure of the stability of a boat's hull that suggests how well a monohull will stand up to its sails. The ballast displacement ratio indicates how much of the weight of a boat is placed for maximum stability against capsizing and is an indicator of stiffness and resistance to capsize.
Ballast / Displacement * 100
A measure of the weight of the boat relative to it's length at the waterline. The higher a boat’s D/L ratio, the more easily it will carry a load and the more comfortable its motion will be. The lower a boat's ratio is, the less power it takes to drive the boat to its nominal hull speed or beyond. Read more.
D/L = (D ÷ 2240) ÷ (0.01 x LWL)³
This ratio assess how quickly and abruptly a boat’s hull reacts to waves in a significant seaway, these being the elements of a boat’s motion most likely to cause seasickness. Read more.
Comfort ratio = D ÷ (.65 x (.7 LWL + .3 LOA) x Beam1.33)
This formula attempts to indicate whether a given boat might be too wide and light to readily right itself after being overturned in extreme conditions. Read more.
CSV = Beam ÷ ³√(D / 64)
Shoal draft: 4.25’/1.30m
