Overview

Founded by the well known boat designer Harry Becker. His son, Jan Becker, also a designer, later assumed control of the firm. Beginning in 1991, an alternate brand has been Excel Yachts of Sweden. Beckerbåt has been one of the leading boat builders in Europe. In 1998 Beckerbåt AB became the general agent for Dufour Yachts in La Rochelle, France.
