Vanguard Nomad for sale:
The Nomad is an exciting, fast, 17’ racing dinghy, with an 8’ beam and 185 sf sail area. It is a joy to sail, coming up to a plane in a light breeze. It has a generous cockpit, can carry 6 adults, but easy to single-hand. With practice can be rigged off its trailer for sailing in about 20 minutes.
The hull is in very good condition, with minor scrapes and scratches. Stored in a barn for 10 years, it is ready to sail. It carries a dacron main, a roller-furled kevlar jib and an asymmetrical nylon jenneker, all in used but sailable condition. All rigging is in good condition.
Comes with a custom cockpit cover, custom-built trailer and 2 hp Honda engine, meticulously maintained.
