Overview

Founded by Robert Poole, who had previously worked for Columbia Yachts. In addition to the companies own line, it was contracted to built or finish a number of Westsails after that firm had gone under. After the founders death, the molds and tooling were sold to Newport Offshore Yachts. Address was: Down East Yachts Inc. 700 East Alton Ave. Santa Ana, CA (USA)
