49’ Very Custom World Cruiser.

The seller, a very experienced sailor, cabinet maker, engineer, boatbuilder and seasoned cruiser who has cruised over 100,000 miles worldwide in previous boats sat down with a Naval Architect to design and build the ultimate Motorsailer/Cruiser.

They incorporated all of the lessons learned from his years’ experience and built this boat over a period of 15 years.

This unique boat is 49’ Overall with a 10’ beam, 3 ft. draft, 700 gallon fuel capacity, 200 gal water, 100 Gal blackwater.

Since the draft is only 3 feet the boat uses paravanes for stabilization while under sail.

It features an Articulated Rudder that will turn the boat in its own length and provide excellent control in a heavy seaway.

The yacht is powered by a 125 hp Yanmar Turbo Diesel with 500 hours, 3 to 1 reduction transmission, 4 blade propeller, 2 Extra 150 amp alternators are mounted on the engine’s standard 70 amp alternator.

Vauflush head, plus electric second head. 12 6 volt batteries for house band plus starting battery.

Original Alternator. The charging systems very efficient, alternators, are also welders. You can remove the sails to lower the masts by yourself in 1 hour. To make air draft of 9’6”.

With the big Genoa main and working jib it about 600 sq. ft. of sail.

There are spares for everything, propeller, alternators, starter, bilge pumps.

Cruise comfortably at 7-8 mph 2 gallons per hour WOT 9-10.

In addition to Radar, GPS and Garmin Fishfinder the VHF features A.I.S.and there is also a single sideband radio and Autopilot.

The owner spent $500,000 plus and 15 years building the perfect boat.
