Dovekie is an excellent Phil Bolger design for shallow water camp cruising for a couple of people.

Features a flat bottom and lee boats. Draft is 4 inches with the board up. This is an earlier version probably circa mid 1980’s. It has the stainless steel gallows and the front centerboard. Weight is 600 pounds so very easy to trailer and rig. It has oar locks for rowing (oars not included).

I rescued this Dovekie at an estate sale in Massachesutts.

Evidently the guy bought boats, parked them and never used them. I included a picture that show the boat in the as found condition. This boat appeared to not have been in the water since 2008. It was sitting outside all those years, but as the dovekie is entirely made of fiberglass it cleaned up good and the hull is in excellent condition with only limited scrapes. Fortunately, all the canvas, sails and spars were stored indoors and are in good to excellent condition. The mainsail appears to have never been used – one small mouse hole in it. All the canvas appears to be the original, but in very usable condition – faded but no holes with the exception of one cargo cover that needs some holes patched. Comes with the original trailer – I repacked the wheel bearing and put new tires on. It comes with the trailer light setup that fits the stern of the boat. Trailer is rusty and will need new bunks, but you could tow it across the country as is. Although the trailer is original, there is insufficient tongue weight so you need to put some ballast up front when towing, I don’t understand why it was designed this way. I would say the boat is in sail away condition, although I did not rig the boat it appears to be complete with all blocks and rigging. Spars are wood. Boom appears to have had a central splice made in it to lengthen it. Varnish needs to be redone on the boom and on the base of the mast. Comes with new looking motor mount (no motor).

Boat and trailer sold with bill of sale only.

This is normal for NH which does not issue titles for vehicles over 20 years old. If you buy out of state, then you would have to explain this to your DMV. Not interested in trades unless perhaps a small trimaran. If you live far away, I may be interested in delivery or partial delivery for the price of gas.
