S/V Myrtille is a 2006 Lagoon 380 S2 catamaran, for sale by owner. After an amazing time cruising the Caribbean we are looking for new owners for our lovely Lagoon 380 S2, which is a spacious 3 cabin owners version with a large master cabin and bathroom that has a washing machine. Never chartered, the boat features all amenities to allow for almost fully autonomous cruising. Besides various upgrades for comfort and liveaboard lifestyle, the crucial components of the boat have been completely renewed to allow for safe passage making, including: a new mast, beam and shrouds (2020), main sail and overhauled Genoa on furler (2020), sea valves replaced by Trudesign (2023), new batteries (880 AHR) and electrical systems (2023), new sanitation pipes and toilet pumps (2023), and new 60L water maker (2023). The boat is currently in a great condition and ready to continue our journey.

A measure of the stability of a boat's hull that suggests how well a monohull will stand up to its sails. The ballast displacement ratio indicates how much of the weight of a boat is placed for maximum stability against capsizing and is an indicator of stiffness and resistance to capsize.

A measure of the weight of the boat relative to it's length at the waterline. The higher a boat’s D/L ratio, the more easily it will carry a load and the more comfortable its motion will be. D/L = (D ÷ 2240) ÷ (0.01 x LWL)³
This ratio assess how quickly and abruptly a boat’s hull reacts to waves in a significant seaway, these being the elements of a boat’s motion most likely to cause seasickness. Read more.
