This one-of-a-kind yacht, a custom-built Marauder 54, was designed and built by Charley Morgan in 1970. This classic sailboat is a cutter sloop, just over 54 long, and only 12.5 on the beam. Her waterline is 38 long, which will give you an idea of her graceful profile. She has the lovely lines of an historic wooden boat, yet does not require the intense upkeep of the same. The vessel is sound and fast, and can satisfy the role equally of a quick cruising boat or an elegant day sailer. The desire is that this unique Marauder 54 become the property of some passionate and energetic owner that has the resources and dedication to do some basic refitting that will restore this vessel’s glory. Her condition is fair to good. While she has a complement of sails and an engine that works well, she should be considered a project boat, residing in St. Petersburg, Florida.
