Ranger FUN 23 sailboat. Excellent condition, ready to sail. Interior rebuilt. Spreaders swept back to simplify rig. Thru-deck fasteners over-bored and epoxy filled. Great handling boat.

The theoretical maximum speed that a displacement hull can move efficiently through the water is determined by it's waterline length and displacement. It may be unable to reach this speed if the boat is underpowered or heavily loaded, though it may exceed this speed given enough power. Read more.

Notes

The FUN 23 is the brain child of French sailor Alain Forgeot and for many years, has been an active one-design class in Europe.
Ranger Yachts USA built about 100 FUN 23’’s at their Tampa FL plant. In France, Jeanneau built a few. The FUN 23 has same basic sailplan as the SOLING (but with overlapping jib permitted).
