1982 Hobie 18 with Magnum wings and many parts replaced recently!Built like a tank like all early 80s H18s!Many updates and replacements about a year and a half ago: -Trampolines replaced -Wings added with new wing tramps -All running rigging replaced, including jib sheet and wire but not including blocks -Some standing rigging replaced, such as forestay and shrouds. Trapeze wires and diamond wire were not replaced by him, but both are in good condition except for the trap T-handles, some of which are broken. -Rudders and dagger boards sanded and faired -Aft deck hatches added to facilitate transom repair (minor transom cracking from beaching; previous owner’s repairs are excellent) -Forward deck hatches replaced with modern screw-in unitsSails are older but in excellent condition: no tears or ripped seams, battens present and unbroken. If I was keeping the boat I would have a few of the jib leech reinforcement seams re-sewn as they are beginning to un-thread. Furler is older but functional. Tiller is in good condition and functions correctly. Dagger trunks are undamaged. Jib and main blocks are older but in good condition and functional. Standard H18 downhaul. Outhaul cleat was replaced and line is present but not currently rigged. Mast rotator present and functional but not currently rigged. Hulls have very minor dings and scratches as you’d expect. Trailer is in good condition with rollers replaced with padded bunks and wheels tires replaced less than 1yr ago. Hard plastic beach wheels included (pictured).
