Notes

S&S design #1617.
The TARTAN 27 was the first boat built by Tartan Marine and was produced continuously for 19 years. An updated version was introduced in 1979. of which 64 were produced,(referred to as TARTAN 27-2) Most noticeably this boat has more freeboard and a retooled deck and coach roof.
A few TARTAN 27’S were built by W.D. Schock on the west coast USA.
