More pictures and description will be added. Selling my 1979 Canadian SaIlcraft 27. This is a great boat but Im leaving the area so I must sell. Hull and Deck are in good condition overall, boat has been well maintained in its life and I have a binder full of records and including original engine manuals. I just hauled out in November 2020 to do bottom paint, replace lower rudder bearing and pintle, inspect the keel joint, etc… New Hood Sails Vektron in-mast furling mainsail installed February 21. Jib is in excellent condition and can be rigged to the self-tacking club foot. Works great for single handing. Upgraded Z-spars Mast and Boom.

Harken headsail furler. 135 Genoa Good condition

Yanmar YSB8 in good strong running condition, fresh oil change.

Interior wood in great condition and no known leaks. Very dry boat.

Working VHF, no electronics.

New in-box Jabsco head, will be installed.

Boat is in Napa, CA until March, will move it to Alameda

The theoretical maximum speed that a displacement hull can move efficiently through the water is determined by it's waterline length and displacement. It may be unable to reach this speed if the boat is underpowered or heavily loaded, though it may exceed this speed given enough power. Read more.

About 90 boats were fitted with these lead fins.
In 1977, the rudder area was increased. CS also offered owners a rudder retrofit kit that added two inches to the forward edge to improve helm balance. Three years later, the mast was changed from a Proctor to an Isomat section, the fibreglass cabin sole was replaced with teak and holly , and cupboard doors were finished with woven cane fronts.
