Amel has created a very functional Blue Water cruiser that is highly sought after. These yachts are capable of very long distance trips in a safe and secure craft. They are designed specifically to be handled by a couple with the aid of many electric winches and there is no need of a large crew. ‘La Querida’ is fully equipped and very well maintained. There are six sails -all are in very good condition. The engine recently fully serviced. The interior is nicely appointed and in VG/excellent condition. The galley has all the conveniences of home including a clothes washer. The huge salon is a center point of comfort underway or at a slip. There is a total of three refrigerator or freezer boxes. There is a nice owner’s cabin aft w/ queen berth and huge lockers. The guest cabin forward features a double to port and a single berth to starboard. Two heads fore and aft. The overall appearance and upkeep is VG to Excellent. This yacht is ready to take you wherever you wish to travel.

Equipment: 88lb Rocna main anchor w/ 330ft 3/8 inch HT chain handled by a Lofrans windlass. Amel bow thruster lowers vertically. 8-AGM battery house bank, with Onan 6.5KW generator plus battery chargers and inverters of various voltages. Solar panels over the arch with an excellent dinghy hoist for 10.5 ft RIB and 9.9Hp outboard. Standard Amel watermaker. The engine is a turbo charged 68 HP Volvo Penta that was fully serviced in December 2021. The wind/water instruments are B&G Hydra; there are two new Garmin SV 7612 color chartplotters-one at the helm and one at the chart table below. The Garmin HD radar overlays that display and there is a forward scanning Garmin depthsounder as well. There are redundant Ray Marine autopilots. The Amel genoa furler is 2 speed electric and sheeted to Lewmar 58 electric winches. The mainsail (new in 2018) is furled in-mast with an electric winch.

It can also carry (at the same time as the above although you usually drop the main):
         Ballooner: 69 sq Metres
         Mizzen Ballooner: 35 sq Metres
        Which would bring the total to 190 sq Metres (2,045 sq feet)
Auxillary power: There were three different standard engines used, the Perkins MT80 (80 HP) was the original, the similar but rebranded Volvo TMD22A (78-83 HP) and the Yanmar 4JH4-HE (78 HP). The most popular engine by far was the Volvo TMD22A
