Senta is a third owner, 1987 Sabre 42 centerboard boat, she has seen excellent maintenance and has been nicely upgraded and she is in excellent condition!! The gelcoat is in excellent condition with almost no crazing. All photos shown are current (2023 Spring/Summer).

She has been actively cruised in the northeast during the last 7 years, so all systems (except SSB) have been used, which increases confidence that they actually work! She is ready to go! Sabre sailing yachts are well built and designed to be high performance cruisers. Her well-balanced sail plan, with equal sized foretriangle and main, offers ease for a short-handed crew. A powerful hull shape yields excellent performance. Fine craftsmanship, built-in storage, ventilation, and liveaboard amenities are custom quality. Contemporary styling blends with traditional craftsmanship to create an elegant interior. Mast height of 57 ft allows for transit via the entire ICW if desired. NOTABLE FEATURES AND/OR UPGRADES BY CURRENT OWNER: 1) New rod stainless steel standing rigging (pin to pin) in 2022 by Annapolis Rigging with complete inspection of mast/boom) including mast step (no mast step rot). 2) Well functioning in-boom furler with Harken 2-speed electric winch. 3) Gelcoat is in excellent condition with almost no crazing! 4) Excellent ground tackle: Maxwell VW10-10 windlass (2016); Mantus M1 55 lb anchor and bridle; 150 feet of ACCO G4 3/8 anchor chain (2016). 5) Vetus model 95 Bow thruster. Vetus Remco1 Remote Transmitter and receiver. 6) Davits and Outboard Lift/Mount: Heavy duty stainless steel Garhaeur (1.25 inch) davits (600) pound limit. High quality (SimpleSystems) Outboard double-motor mount installed (2019). Boat has Forespar MotorMate to lift outboard and other items. 7) Westerbeke 46 HP 4-cylinder diesel with 1470 hours has excellent compression (starts immediately). All 4 motor mounts replaced (2022). 8) Engine drive train: 1) New ZF15M transmission (2022); 2) Aqua drive reduces vibration and noise and makes engine alignment easy; 3) New Aquamet 22 (shaft replaced (2019); 4) stuffing box hose (Buck Algonquin) replaced (2018); 5) cutlass bearing replaced (2019) 9) Refrigeration: SeaFrost holding plate system can be run off 2 compressors: 1) Engine driven compressor (R134a) quickly (room temp to frozen in 30 min) freezes, or 2) SeaFrost 12 volt Tradewinds XP (2016) unit with digital controller. 10) Air conditioner (Mabru SC12 12,000 BTU) installed in 2020. Protects boat during winter storage. 15) Many new lines (running rigging): New (2022) main and genoa halyards with New England Ropes Viper 11 mm.
